Welcome to the Stoke-by-Nayland Shotokan Karate Club’s website.


Sensei Peter HealThe SNSKC was established by Sensei Peter Heal, a member of the Karate Union of Great Britain for over 30 years. The dojo is at the ‘Peake Fitness Centre’ which is part of the Stoke-by-Nayland Country Club.

Karate members have full use of showers including towels, changing rooms, and coffee/bar lounge.
Instructors are KUGB qualified instructors and CRB checked.
Training is every Tuesday from 7pm until 8pm for all grades and from 8pm until 8:30pm for brown belts and above. Friday is from 7pm until 8pm for all grades and 8pm until 9pm for 1st Kyu grade and above students.
Training fees are £5 per session or £25 per month for adults or £15 per month for juniors (7-15 years).
All karate ka visiting the area are welcome to train at the club. People wishing to start karate are extremely welcome with their second lesson being free of charge.
